Why self-host n8n instead of using a hosted automation tool?
Cost and control. Self-hosting removes per-task pricing, so automation volume stops being a budget question, and your data stays on infrastructure you own — which matters when workflows carry customer or financial records. The trade-off is that somebody has to run it, which is the part we take on.
Can you host and manage n8n for us?
Yes — it is already one of the applications we host. Provisioned, secured, backed up, kept upgraded, and monitored. You get the automation platform without owning a server.
What if n8n has no node for a system we use?
We write one. Custom node development is a normal part of this work, and in practice the more interesting business systems are exactly the ones without an off-the-shelf node.
Can you move us off Zapier or Make.com?
Yes, and the cost difference at volume is usually the reason people ask. We rebuild the workflows properly rather than transcribing them, because the originals typically have no error handling — the hosted tools make it easy to skip.
How do we know a workflow has not quietly stopped?
Because we monitor the workflows themselves, not just whether the server is up. A disabled workflow or an expired credential throws no error — things simply stop happening — so this needs watching deliberately.
